Leadership, service, and a passion for the construction industry make Kelly Phelan an outstanding part of the Guignard Company team.
Since joining Guignard Company in 2019 as an Account Executive, Kelly Phelan has brought energy, expertise, and dedication to every client relationship she supports. With experience in the surety industry, a background in research and event coordination, and a genuine commitment to helping contractors succeed, Kelly works with a wide range of clients, from emerging contractors in small contractor programs to established commercial surety accounts.
Beyond her professional role, Kelly has made a remarkable impact throughout the construction community through her leadership with the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). As President of the Greater Orlando Chapter, she helped lead one of the largest and fastest-growing chapters in the country while championing initiatives that encourage and support future generations entering the construction industry. Her involvement has included leading construction career camps, supporting student chapter development, contributing to national NAWIC educational resources, and helping charter new chapters across the Southeast region.
Kelly’s dedication has earned her numerous recognitions, including multiple Member of the Year honors, the President’s Award, and an Executive Award at the 2025 NAWIC Annual Conference. She also serves on the Seminole State College Wharton-Smith Center for Construction Industry Advisory Board, continuing her commitment to workforce development and industry growth.
When she’s not serving clients or supporting the construction community, Kelly enjoys spending time with family and friends, participating in charitable activities, and cheering on the Appalachian State Mountaineers.
