Guignard Company and our team members are longtime supporters of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) – Central Florida Chapter and its annual Construction Expo. Given our deep history with this important trade association, we could not resist the opportunity to fully embrace this year’s expo theme, “Fairy Tales.” Our team, led by Mariel Coleman, Director of Business Development at Guignard Company, transformed the booth space into several scenes that brought stories to life.
The Guignard team adapted the fairy tale “Jack and the Beanstalk” to illustrate the story of how our founder, Jack Guignard, saved the town by taking care of the Giant and getting the goose that lays the golden “bonds.” In the end, our hero saves the town by learning, studying, and perfecting his knowledge to provide the best service to his villagers, which enables them to restore and rebuild their community.
The booth was uniquely decorated with special attention paid to every detail, including magic bean juice, golden eggs with chocolate surprises, and Guignard-branded goodies. Our team members themselves were even dressed as villagers to match the themed décor.
Guignard received first place for “Best Booth” in the Associates/Suppliers Category, as decided by the Construction Expo organizers.
The Construction Expo is the ABC Central Florida Chapter’s largest event of the year, and was attended by more than 1,800 ABC members and others in the Central Florida construction industry.
